What Is Rice Bran Wax?
Rice Bran Wax is a vegetable wax derived from rice bran. Its main components are long-chain wax esters with chain lengths of approximately C60. Although its chemical composition is similar to sunflower wax, its formulation applications are quite different.
Key Properties of Rice Bran Wax
Highly Hydrophobic
Refined Rice Bran Wax has a strongly hydrophobic character, making it suitable for oil-based cosmetic formulations.
Soft Oil Gels
Unlike some harder vegetable waxes, Rice Bran Wax forms soft oil gels. This property makes it particularly useful where a softer and more flexible texture is required.
Long-Chain Wax Esters
Its main components are long-chain wax esters, with chain lengths of around C60.

Rice Bran Wax is particularly suitable for:
